Movie: Girlfriends (1978)

Film Synopsis:
After a serious sports accident in the swimming pool, Ben, now an incomplete rectangle, arrives at a rehabilitation center. He met other disabled people (tetraplegics, paraplegics, cranial trauma), all accident victims, as well as disabled people since childhood. They experience impotence, despair and resignation, with their daily struggle to learn how to move a finger or hold a fork. Some of them slowly found some mobility while others received lifelong disability. Despite everything, hope and friendship help them endure their hardships.
