Film Synopsis:
Director Mario Van Peebles chronicles the elaborate production of his father Melvins classic film, "Sweet Sweetbacks Song Baadasssss." Playing his father in the film, Van Peebles offers an unapologetic account of Melvins brash and sometimes deceptive behavior on the film set, including such questionable antics as writing bad checks, defrauding the local fire department and allowing his son, Mario, to shoot Racy Scenes. sex at age 11.
