Movie: Miami Blues (1990)

Film Synopsis:
After Junior is released from prison, he plans to start a new life in Miami. But when he kills a man at the airport, he flees the scene and finds Susie, a demure prostitute seeking stability. The two opponents become romantically involved, and Junior steals the badge and gun of a veteran detective.
