Movie: RiffRaff (1991)

Film Synopsis:
Stevie, fresh from prison in Scotland, finds work on a London construction site. Working conditions were poor and most of the men worked under aliases, due to their immigration status and not in conflict with their "signing" for unemployment benefits. Some colleagues help Stevie Secure Housing, squatting on the council estate. Then Stevie meets Susan, from Ireland, who is struggling to become a professional singer.
