Film Synopsis:
TVs Frankie Boyle has declared that no one over 40 should do stand-up, as old comedians lose their edge and anger. Stewart Lee is 42 years old and Frankies callous Scottish words have made him wonder if its worth it. Undeterred, the very confused comedian tried to win over the legendary tough Glasgow audience with a fun McIntyre-style routine about the coffee shop crowd, but was interrupted by a number of imaginary pirates; He tries to talk about the everyday concerns of middle-aged men, but gets pulled into a forty-minute rant against Top Gear and its all a deal; He attempts to find some semblance of the happy childhood memories he and the audience can share, but is instead consumed with hatred and despair as a result of the Magners cider advertising campaign.
