Movie: The Dresser (2015)
Film Synopsis:
One fateful night at a small English regional theater during World War II a troupe of actors tours the stage of a production of Shakespeares King Lear. Bombs fall, sirens wail, the curtain rises in an hour but the actor/manager Sir playing Lear is nowhere to be seen. His dresser Norman will have to fight to keep the production alive but will Sir show up on time and if he does, will he be able to perform that night? Dresser is a hilarious and deeply moving tale of friendship and loyalty as Sir reflects on his lifetime of accomplishments and attempts to reconcile his turbulent friendships with those before him before the final curtain.
