Film Synopsis:
In 14th century England, this tale of murder and mystery follows a fugitive priest who falls in love with a group of actors. When they arrive in a small town, the actors meet a woman sentenced to death for practicing witchcraft and murder. Discarding the expected Biblical story, the actors now put on a crime-based performance. Through the performance of the drama, they discover a mystery.
