Movie: The River King (2005)
Film Synopsis:
Abel Gray is sent to investigate the death of a boy from an exclusive local school, who was found floating in a river. Scandal feared, the school confirmed it was a suicide. But after discovering from the boys girlfriend, Carlin, that he is being badly bullied, Abel suspects that a dangerous schoolboy initiation has gone wrong and he secretly enlists the help of a sympathetic teacher, Betsy. He was warned against the investigation by his boss, as the school was a generous benefactor to the police benevolence fund. However, Abel cant let the case go, not only because his own brother committed suicide years earlier, but also it seems that the dead boys spirit left clues to what really happened that night.
