Movie: The Train (1964)
Film Synopsis:
As allied forces approach Paris in August 1944, German colonel von Waldheim is eager to bring all of Frances greatest paintings to Germany. He managed to secure a carriage to transport the valuable works of art even as the chaos of the retreat descended upon them. However the French Resistance wanted to stop them from stealing their national treasures but had received orders from London that they were not to be destroyed. The station master, Labiche, is tasked with scheduling trains and making everything run smoothly but he is also part of a dwindling group of resistance fighters tasked with preventing theft.
