Film Synopsis:
Frank Galvin is a down and out lawyer reduced to drinking and chasing ambulances, when a former colleague reminds him of his obligations in a medical malpractice lawsuit by presenting him to Galvin in silver platter-all parties are willing to settle out of court. Blundering his way through the preliminaries, Galvin suddenly realizes that the case must actually go to trial - to convict the guilty, to get a decent settlement for his client... and to restore his standing as a lawyer.
