Film Synopsis:
Christmas is fast approaching and years of long days employed at New Yorks top corporate law firm will pay off now as Lucy Toomey will become a partner after New year. However, when Alice, her older sister with special needs, unexpectedly dies, Lucy returns to Nilsons Bay, Wis., to attend the funeral and deal with her estate. While Lucy Dreads returns to her childhood home, she also feels sad that she was too busy to answer her sisters last call. Upon returning to Nilsons Bay, Lucy meets Peter, her old high school sweetheart and Alices former lawyer, who informs her of the terms of Alices eccentric will which states that in order for Lucy to inherit the family home, she must live there for 30 days past through the holidays.
