Film Synopsis:
A love letter from a young mother to her daughter, this film tells the story of Waad Al-Kateabs life during the five-year uprising in Aleppo, Syria when she falls in love , married and gave birth to Sama, all while a mighty canysmic conflict in a mighty way rose around him. His camera captures extraordinary stories of loss, laughter and survival as Waad grapples with an impossible choice - whether or not to flee the city to protect his daughters life, when leaving means abandoning the fight for freedom for which he has sacrificed so much.
