Movie: Lucky Man (2022)
Film Synopsis:
Widow Elinor Randall and her young daughter, Jerrine, arrive in barren Wyoming in 1910 after Elinors application to work as a housemaid is accepted by Clyde Stewart, a rancher. This work breaks back and the insulation is brutal, especially when winter comes. Elinor begins to think about homesteading her own property near the Stewart ranch, but Stewart tries to dissuade her with explanations of the conditions of murder and the poor rewards, especially for a woman who has no man to help her farm. Despite their different temperaments and little affection, Elinor and Stewart agree to marry and combine homesteads. What lay ahead was the most severe test of all.
