Film Synopsis:
In the 1920s, Provence was a magnet for immigrants looking for work in the mines or on farms. Many mingled with the locals and settled permanently – like Toni, an Italian who had moved in with Marie, a French woman. Even the best-laid out existence is not immune to boredom, friendship, love, or hostility, and Toni becomes entangled in a web of increasingly passionate relationships.
