Film Synopsis:
Portrait photographer Elsa Dorfman discovered her medium in 1980: the larger-than-life 20x24 Polaroid Land Camera. Over the next thirty-five years, he captured the "surface" of those who visited his studio: families, beat poets, rock stars, and Harvard fame.
