Prohibition ends so bootlegger bugs Ahearn decides to crack California society. He rented a house from the discussed Ruth and employed her as a social secretary. He rescues Polly Cass from A Horsefall and goes home to meet his father who sells him some fake stock certificates. When he learned about this, he sent to Chicago for mass relief.
