Film Synopsis:
Intelligent Alex grows up in proud Michigan with his mother, Romanian immigrant Ileana, who became a professor, vowing to make her dreams come true by graduating from Harvard. But when mom became manic-depressed and repeatedly threw away her medication, Alex landed in foster care each time.
